Job Summary and Qualifications

The Employee Health Nurse plays a vital role within the human resources department, focusing on essential functions like pre-employment assessments, health monitoring, and compliance with state and federal regulations affecting our workforce.

• Oversee the implementation of Employee Health policies and manage the Employee Health Program.
• Act as the Injury Coordinator, managing work-related injuries.
• Maintain and file the OSHA 300 log appropriately.
• Co-Chair the Employee Safety and Security Committee.
• Facilitate timely submission of Workers' Compensation claims.
• Administer immunization programs and provide essential health education.
• Support employees who experience needle sticks or blood/body fluid exposures.
• Develop clinical pathways for efficient recoveries and safe returns to work.
• Manage and oversee the Hospital's DESSO program.
• Handle occurrence reports on employee injuries and illnesses ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with HR regarding various leave and compensation issues.
• Assist with pre-employment processes as part of the HR team.
• Perform additional related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Current NH Registered Nurse or Compact State RN license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• 3-7 years of relevant experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
