Job Description: The Lead Medical Assistant exemplifies the compassion and care of the LACN mission and is responsible for gathering and documenting patient screening data, obtaining vitals, preparing charts, drawing labs, maintaining their area, assisting providers, and other various activities needed to ensure patient care is prioritized. This team leader will provide support in the training, supervision, and development of staff Medical Assistants. Leaders will participate and speak in morning huddles, check staff Medical Assistant notes to ensure proper documentation and oversee the lab to maintain compliance. This role will communicate regularly with LACN Leadership, and provide patients with safe, quality care, throughout their treatment and disease process, under the direct supervision of their Provider.
