This Payroll Clerk Position Features:

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Sierra Madre, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing excellent support to employees regarding payroll inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees.
Verify timecards, deductions, and benefits for accuracy.
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
Prepare and submit payroll tax filings as required.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.
Assist with year-end reporting and W-2 preparation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of payroll experience.
Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll).
Strong understanding of federal and California payroll regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
