Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a DC RN license and COVID-19 vaccination.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit of a teaching hospital
• Level 1 Trauma facility with 228 staffed beds
• Day shifts are 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:30
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• No on-call required
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
• Scrubs are provided
• Uses Centricity, Sorian, EDM, Lawson, and Kronos for charting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Team orientation provided in a collaborative, teaching hospital environment
• Only one time-off request is permitted
• Parking is available for a fee, or accessible by public transportation via the Shaw/Howard University Metro stop and local bus routes

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active DC RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
