• Location: Two Rivers, Wisconsin 54241 (Wisconsin nursing jobs)\n
• Facility: 12-bed Emergency Department in a 69-bed hospital\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 4, 2026)\n
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week)\n
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse\n
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend\n
• Orientation: 1 shift on unit\n
• Parking: Free onsite parking\n
• Scrub Color: Any\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020 - $2070\n

\n\nEmergency Room Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience\n
• Active RN license in Wisconsin or compact state (Wisconsin RN jobs)\n
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required\n
• De-escalation training (MOAB or CPI)\n
• Proficiency with Epic charting system\n
• Strong ED skillset: chest tubes, drips, IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, cardiac rhythm interpretation\n
• Comfortable with patient ratios of 1:5, occasionally up to 1:6\n

\n\nER RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages and acuity levels\n
• Perform bedside phlebotomy, IV starts, and manage cardiac drips\n
• Interpret EKGs and cardiac rhythms\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team: CNAs, respiratory therapists, hospitalists (in-house 24/7)\n
• Document care using Epic; operate GE monitors, Alaris, and Pyxis equipment\n
• Participate in weekend rotations and holiday coverage\n
• Support SANE program and stroke protocols in the Emergency Department\n
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment using de-escalation techniques\n
